Plastic Technicians / Production Operators

ProQuest Recruitment are searching for Plastic Technicians!!! Exciting opportunity is currently available for multiple operators that are competent and licensed forklift drivers with plastics experience being essential. Another opportunity exists for backup candidate/s to cover shifts as and when required. Plastics experience is not essential; however, candidates must be licensed experienced forklift operators.

We can guarantee one shift per week, with additional shifts as per the business requirements. Responsibilities: Work across both Blow Moulding and Extrusion Machines in order to maintain optimal efficiency in production Machine set up and troubleshooting (Any types, no specific machine brand requirements) Maintain machines to minimise downtime Test runs and quality checks Ensure safe operation of all machinery whilst achieving daily manufacturing targets Maintain consistent product specification and standards Monitor and troubleshoot machines to ensure safety and functionality Recommend initiatives to improve overall efficiency Learn and undertake tasks and projects as required Use the Forklift to stack and organise stocked pallets Understanding of policies procedures relating to standard operating practices, HSE and Quality Ability to apply required housekeeping standards Ability to record data as necessary Operation of basic machine functions Requirements: To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will require the following; Blow Moulding /or Extrusion Techniques / Machine Experience (Essential) LF License (High Reach experience considered an advantage) Plastics experience Excellent communication skills

Great problem-solving ability with excellent attention to detail Able to work a 12-hour day rotating roster when required (including weekends if you are available) 2-4 shifts per week What we offer: Central location
