About the role:
Destec has recently commenced mining operations at our new Poondano Iron Ore Project in the Pilbara, located approximately 20km north of Port Hedland, with the camp located approximately 6km from site.
We are currently seeking Excavator Operators with prior Mining Production experience, to join our new operations. We are a small operation and the successful candidate needs to be happy to operate other machinery when/if required.
This role is offered FIFO ex Perth on a 2/1 roster on a full time salary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working with excavators up to 100t within a Mining Production environment
- Prior experience working in a Leading Hand capacity is strongly desirable
- Experience on loaders, grader, moxy's and bobcat/skid steer would be highly desirable.
- Hold a current and valid driver’s licence
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment including a drug & alcohol screen
- Ability to provide/obtain a police clearance
