We are looking to engage a skilled and enthusiastic Platform Product Managerto join our Federal Government client!
The Platform Product Manager (PPM) for MPET will manage and develop products or services through their full life cycle from inception, growth, maturity, decline to retirement. The PPM will also oversee the organisation's product and services portfolio and the delivery of customer value and/or user satisfaction over time.
The PPM will also create the product life cycle management framework for internal and external customers and users and champion the importance and value of product management principles and appropriate product development models.
The PPM will align the product management objectives with business objectives and authorise the selection and planning of all product management activities. The PPM will initiate the creation of new products and services and identify how developing new products or adapting existing products can lead to new opportunities.

Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance will be considered for this role.
The experience and skills for this role are:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager or similar role with demonstrated ability in strategic planning and execution within a large-scale IT transformation program.
- Successful track record of implementing an API first approach to delivery and a deep understanding of the full API lifecycle.
- Solid understanding of how to pragmatically introduce an API business layer into an existing SaaS 2 Tier application architecture.
- Deep understanding and experience in delivering Integration Platforms using SaaS products (Ideally MuleSoft and/or API Platforms)
- Deep understanding and experience in delivering and managing APIs that will be consumed by 3rd parties. This includes discovery and management via an API portal (Ideally API Community Manager)
- Successful track record of delivering Integration Platforms and products in accordance with Agile methodologies, ideally SAFe.
- Expert at managing competing priorities against the available capacity of multiple multi-disciplinary team members.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal stakeholders including executive.
- Demonstrated experience creating a collaborative, innovative and efficient working culture.
- Demonstrated experience of delivering Digital Platforms (As opposed to delivering projects/applications on Platforms
