The Role:The Play Assistant supports the Play Leader to facilitate quality play and learning sessions to meet the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children aged from 3 to 5 years. This role works closely with parents and caregivers from diverse cultural backgrounds, to support them in meeting their child’s learning and developmental needs. This program focuses on supporting children who are developmentally vulnerable who may have additional needs. This role is very hands-on and requires getting to know children individually and providing play experiences that enhance engagement in their learning and development of safe and nurturing relationships. This role will require travel between Gosnells, Langford and Kelmscott.This position will be offered on a Fixed part time basis working 24 hours per fortnight.
