We are a family-owned company who manufacture and supply chilled and frozen meal solutions to Australian supermarkets and Foodservice operators.
Our established and fast paced Arndell Park facility is looking for an experienced Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)Programmer to join our Engineering team.
About the Role:
As a PLCProgrammer, you will be responsible for supporting troubleshooting on/andupgrading PLC programs for automation equipment. In addition to this, youshould be testing the system efficiency and safety as and when required.
About You:
To be successful asa PLC Programmer, you should have a sound knowledge of electrical andmechanical principles and an exceptionally strong understanding of process. Youshould also have experience in finding faults in the system. Moreover, youshould have an excellent ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks. Skills & Experience required;
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing or similar
- Working within a fast-paced demanding environment
- An ability to understand and follow Safety and Food Handling policies and procedures
- Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, or arelated degree
- Sound knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software principles
- Extensive knowledge of PLC programming languages such as ladder logic,sequential function charts, etc
- Experience working with either Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishisoftware and components
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
- Ability to work autonomously
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel as and when required
- Ability to solve complex problems
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent mathematics and arithmetic skills
- A keen eye for details for accuracy
- Working experience as a PLC Programmer, or a similar role in the Engineeringindustry
