About the position
The Plumber position will undertake a range of plumbing and labouring works of a municipal nature.
- The base wage rate for this position is $1,225.91 gross per week, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- In addition to the base wage rate, overtime and other variable allowances are available.
- This is a permanent full time position based out of our Principal Depot in Charlton.
- This position participates in a nine (9) day fortnight working arrangement.
About the Water Infrastructure Services Branch
The Water and Sewer Maintenance Section forms part of the Water Infrastructure Services (WIS) Branch. It is responsible for carrying out the Passive assets management and maintenance of the community Water supply and Wastewater collection pipeline networks. These works are essential for maintaining public health, protecting the environment, and promoting sustainable water management.
The Water and Sewer Maintenance Section services a region encompassing Toowoomba,Crows Nest, Oakey, and Millmerran of operational works entailing:
- Reactive Water/Sewer works
- Programmed Water/Sewer works and private works
- Supply network Bulk Water mains works
