Overview
Join our vibrant and enthusiastic Allied health Team and broaden your experience as you provide podiatry services in wide range of clinical settings.
Pt Pirie boasts a vibrant sporting community and is not far from the magnificent Flinders Ranges and Clare Valley wine region. In this role, you will be responsible for providing podiatry services within the Port Pirie Regional Health Service and the Mid North Cluster. Supervising staff within your department, you will work within a multidisciplinary team framework to deliver positive client outcomes.
This will include contributing to service development within the health service, evaluating service development and making recommendations. You will provide podiatry services in clinical areas including but not limited to high risk and diabetic management, pod paediatrics, palliative care, biomechanics, nail surgery, wound management, skin and nail pathology, orthotic prescription and manufacture, education and health promotion.

Eligibility
Applicants must hold a recognised qualification within the Podiatry profession and be eligible for full practising membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements to maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations' accredited continuous professional development program.
With experience in clinical podiatry practice, you will possess excellent customer service skills and capacity to implement service improvement activities. Promoting a client-centred approach, you will be committed to supporting clients, carers and families across the Patient Journey, providing effective assessment and triage, timely referrals, accurate information, coordinated care and prompt follow-up.
