1 and One Consulting is on the lookout for an experienced Policy Consultant to work on a review of a major Commonwealth Act. This pivotal role is an opportunity to support landmark legislative reforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct an in-depth review of the current legislation, pinpointing critical areas that will need to be removed to form proposed new legislation.
- Craft detailed policy proposals, articulating clear proposed legislative amendments.
- Lead targeted engagement sessions with key government stakeholders.
- Apply your expertise in legislative analysis and drafting to ensure proposed amendments are viable, impactful and supportive of Government direction.
- Offer ongoing insights and advice to guide the strategic direction of the project.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Demonstrable experience in legislative review and drafting processes, preferably at the Commonwealth level.
- Outstanding communication skills for effective liaison with all levels of stakeholders.
- Autonomous, driven professional adept at navigating fast-paced project timelines, with proven ability to work remotely and be accountable for outcomes.
