Your contribution
Using your understanding and experience in policy development, you will:
- identify, research, develop and analyse policy issues and legal advice and work in a team to develop evidence-based policy solutions
- coordinate/manage multiple projects and tasks focusing on the creation of project and communication plans, meeting deadlines, accountability and deliverables
- assist the Policy and Resolutions (P&R) Manager in drafting policies, updates, reports, agenda's and minutes for the P&R working committee
- assist with implementation and delivery of policy communication strategies, including the preparation and delivery of policy overview sessions to staff
- work collaboratively with colleagues and internal stakeholders to achieve P&R Team operational outcomes
- monitor P&R Team mailbox and allocate/assign emails as appropriate to team members
- contribute to the development and commitment to ethical behaviour and QLeave's corporate values
- any other tasks as directed from time to time as directed by your Manager

- high-level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively consult, liaise and negotiate with QLeave staff and management
- demonstrated skills and expertise in applying Microsoft apps. to aid project management and delivery of presentations and broadcast communications to internal stakeholders
- have an understanding of project management processes
- proven ability to be agile, work autonomously and be a highly effective team member
- exceptional analytical and writing skills
- strong analytical thinking and evidence-based decision making
- attention to detail to ensure consistency and accuracy of policy documentation
- innovative thinking to develop alternative solutions
