About the opportunity:

The Centre For A Better Canberra (FAB CBR), housed at the University of Canberra, advocates in the interest of the Canberra community, putting its needs and priorities at the heart of its agenda. The Centre will work with citizens, connecting Canberrans with local learning and bridging the gap between academia and the functional needs of the community.

Collaborate closely with the Centre Director and Academic Director to deliver policy-oriented research as well as advanced administrative and secretarial support.

Facilitate active collaboration between the Centre and UC by engaging with stakeholders internally and externally, bringing together experts on shared topics of interest. This involves conducting desktop research, reviewing studies, analysing data, and preparing reports that will effectively communicate research findings to the Canberra community and policy makers. Additionally, this role will provide secretariat assistance to the Centre's Advisory Board, which includes coordinating meeting agendas and papers, taking minutes, and managing general administrative tasks for the board.
