About the role
This Senior Project Officer will contribute to the work of the SQIS team with a focus on undertaking projects relating to Clinical Trials and health and medical research. This will include project management activities, leading and coordinating related education and training initiatives, routine stakeholder engagement and management, facilitation of meetings, preparation of project documentation and collaborating with other relevant programs within the Commission.
Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- Highly developed project management skills, including an ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, recognising any common links, managing risks and aligning key objectives.
- Highly developed ability to conduct research, including literature reviews and interviews, and analyse and synthesise information on a variety of subjects.
- Understanding of, and experience in, the Australian Clinical Trials environment and related healthcare system. Experience in implementing the National Clinical Trials Governance is desirable.
- Highly developed written communication skills, and relevant research skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
