Pool Lifeguard Team Leader
About your new role
Are you a natural leader with a passion for safety and excellence? The Gold Coast Aquatic Centre is looking for a Pool Lifeguard Team Leader to oversee lifeguard operations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons and the community. You'll lead a dedicated team, manage daily operations, and uphold the highest standards of customer service and safety.

We're looking for someone who has:
- A strong commitment to health and safety, ensuring the wellbeing of patrons and staff at all times.
- Demonstrated experience as a Team Leader of lifeguards, with the ability to lead, coach, and mentor a new and growing team effectively.
- Proven knowledge and experience as a pool plant operator, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of pool facilities.
- High-level interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and liaise with people at all levels.
- Previous experience in frontline management, dealing directly with the public and handling various situations with professionalism.
- Proven experience in promoting and adhering to all relevant legislation, regulations, agreements, standards, policies, and processes, ensuring compliance and best practices in all operations.
