Fire Extinguisher/Fire Technician Tester

The Roles:

Based at our Bunbury Office and servicing the South West Region.

Once you are up to speed and are competent in the role, your key responsibility will be to attend customer sites to install, service and maintain fire protection equipment including hose reels, extinguishers, fire indicator panels, sprinkler system and fire pumps.

This will include:

• Assist with servicing Portable Fire equipment at customers premises and recommending Portable Fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with specific Australian Standards.
• Provide excellent Customer service.
• Using power tools to install and repair Portable Fire equipment such as extinguishers, hose reels, and blankets.
• Assist with inspecting and testing of Fire Indicator Panels, Sprinkler Systems and Hydrant pumps.

To be successful:

Whilst previous experience in the Fire Industry is not essential as you will receive all the training required to perform your role at a high standard. If you have a service mindset and enjoy customer interaction, you can achieve the outcomes you and our company desire.

You will need the following:

• Current Drivers Licence
• A construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one).
• Some experience in a similar role where you have been responsible for basic mechanical or technical maintenance in the mobile service delivery is desirable.
• An appreciation of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with clients on site.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Be a proactive member of the team.
