What you’ll be doing…

As the PD Analyst you will be responsible for transforming data into functional reports to assist the business in making data driven decisions. You will be part of the Project Delivery Office which supports with providing  financial reporting, scheduling and analysis support at both a project and portfolio level for all stakeholders ranging from Project Managers to the Chief Digital and Customer Officer

As part of your role you will:

  • Transform raw data into meaningful and interactive POWER BI reports and dashboards
  • Create functional reporting to support portfolio/project decisions
  • Prepare, summarise and provide data to PM’s as required (including financial breakdowns and resourcing needs)
  • Support PM’s with Finance (actuals) and investigate to understand project spend and trends and discrepancies
  • Support end of month activities across the portfolio including time sheet compliance, financial forecasting and other ad hoc activities
  • Ensure project schedules are realistic and consistent with costing estimates
  • Maintain portfolio level delivery map (schedule project go-lives)

You’ll be great in this role if you have…

  • Extensive and demonstrated experience with data visualisation, reporting and analysis
  • High level proficiency with Excel
  • Finance, Commercial or Accounting background
  • Experience in generating high quality project documentation, artefacts and reports
  • Exceptional communication skills including the ability to simplify technical concepts
  • Demonstrated experience in building stakeholder relationship with a broad set of stakeholders including executive leadership. The ability to cross collaborate with other business partners and departments
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and forecasting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to extract, understand and use data, analyse management information and provide insight to enable data driven business decisions
  • A self-starter mindset with the self-accountability to work autonomously

Desirable but not essential…

  • Tertiary qualifications, ideally in the fields of IT, Finance or associated fields
  • Project Experience
  • Experience creating, developing and presenting POWER BI (or similar) dashboards and reports
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Project Online
