About the Role:
Seeking an Experienced Post Track Loader and Excavator Operator: Join our team of skilled professionals and bring your expertise to the forefront. We're looking for a seasoned operator who can handle the toughest terrain with precision and finesse. If you're ready to take on challenging projects and make an impact, apply now. Saturday work may be required on occasion. Overtime rates would apply as per the Award.
Applicants may need to participate in an on-site Verification of Operator Competency (VOC) on site (approx. 2 hours) for consideration of employment.
About You:
You have an affinity with the bush, and a desire to see it restored to a pristine state. You enjoy working within a team environment and bring a positive attitude, along with your strong work ethic and can meet deadlines. Working with nature means no two days are the same, so your flexibility is appreciated.
This is a permanent full-time position with all the benefits including:

Some of your duties will include:
- operating our combos (truck, excavator and skid steer loader)
- daily checks of the plant pre-operation
- safe transportation of plant & machinery to various sites across SEQ
- safely loading and unloading machinery & plant from trucks & trailers
- preventative maintenance
- identifying mechanical issues & taking action to repair
- performing labouring duties if required
- work to deadlines
- ensuring open and good communication with team and management
Specific Excavator tasks include but are not limited to:
- digging trenches
- working on or near steep batters
- using flail munchers, rock grabs and cutting pads in a safe manner
- final trim
Specific Posi tasks include but are not limited to:
- turf preparation
- spreading mulch
- slashing deck attachments & other attachments in tight spaces
- operating in a safe manner around ground staff
What you need to have:
- bobcat / skid steer ticket
- excavator (4 tonne) ticket
- HR licence
- construction white card
- civil site knowledge (preferred & highly desirable)
- certificate of competency for operating
