PRIMARY DETAIL

Macquarie Business School (MQBS) is seeking an experienced and driven Education Services Delivery Manager to lead Executive Education professional services.

  • Salary Package: From $133,989 to $141,514 (HEW 9) p.a., plus 17% superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Appointment Type: Full-time, 1-year fixed term contract with flexible work arrangements
  • Location: Macquarie University (North Ryde) and City Campus

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Head of Education Services, the position will develop and implement strategy and manage the teams supporting postgraduate "post- experience" courses, such as the MBA, and non-award courses.

Key Accountabilities

  • In collaboration with the Head of Educational Services, Deputy Dean of Education and Employability and Faculty Executive Director, lead the successful delivery of the Faculty's PX educational services including:

  • Administration of faculty courses and units

  • Management and resolution of complex student issues including course enquires, student progression and complaints

  • Delivery of a high-quality Careers program that is embedded within the curriculum and external to the curriculum

  • Develop and implement the strategic direction of the Executive Education Program

  • Manage and coordinate student lifecycle and wellbeing processes/support activities across the Faculty, ensuring requirements are communicated and negotiated within University requirements, systems, timelines and appropriate governance frameworks.

  • In collaboration with the Head of Educational Services and the Deputy Dean (Education and Employability) or equivalent Associate Dean, manage the development and implementation of specific education projects for the Faculty, including defining and driving key deliverables and timeframes.

  • Build networking events with industry to provide career progression opportunities for the PX student cohort.

  • Manage, coach and develop staff within the PX Educational Services Delivery team and foster strong and collaborative working relationships, and support for individual performance.

You will be a driven, strategic leader with a proven track record for delivering service excellence. A natural multitasker, used to fast-paced and complex environments, your success in higher education or similar fields leading industry engagement and customer experience / life cycle initiatives will demonstrate your relationship management and project management acumen.

The successful applicant will work closely with academic leads, other professional service leads and key industry to deliver high quality student experiences.

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and extensive relevant experience
  • Contributing to the design, development and managing implementation of customer experience or business development strategies, operational plans and initiatives
  • Extensive experience leading and successfully implementing multiple projects and/ or events simultaneously
  • Ability to identify, build and nurture partnerships with external organisations to support organisational strategy
  • Synthesising and analysing data from a number of sources to prepare presentations, reports and submissions for internal and external audiences
  • Demonstrated experience developing, coaching and supporting team members and colleagues
