About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow OR Research Fellow in Speech Pathology to join our world-leading School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences.

In this role, you will support and manage research associated with the NHMRC funded project: Implementation of Comprehensive High-dose Aphasia Treatment (CHAT). You will be responsible for managing this research project, including study processes, project implementation and delivery, and management of participating sites and collaborator relationships.

Reporting to Professor David Copland, and physically based at the Queensland Aphasia Research Centre (QARC) located within the Surgical, Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), this is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical research outcomes for CHAT.

This is a part-time, fixed-term position through to 28 February 2025.

This opportunity is being offered at Academic Level A or B commensurate with the successful candidate's skills and experience.

At Academic Level A, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $77,324 - $102,945, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $90,470 - $120,445 annually.

At Academic Level B, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $108,201 - $128,201, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $126,595 - $149,996 annually.

As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases in line with the Enterprise Agreement.

  • Speech Pathology Australia registration: It is a requirement of this position that the incumbent is eligible for Speech Pathology Australia membership.
