About the role

The Postgraduate Fellow will be working within an inter-disciplinary team to provide clinical care, teaching and research with an emphasis on the integration of MRI planning into treatment delivery.

Your main duties will include:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to equity of health care delivery.
  • Perform clinical services for inpatients, Emergency presentations and outpatients as required.
  • Provide clinical leadership to junior colleagues by ensuring a high standard of patient care, which conforms to best practice and is evidence based. 

About you

  • Experience with the integration of MRI planning in radiotherapy.
  • Ability to contribute and embrace process change for quality improvement in patient care.
  • A Primary Medical Degree registrable with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated time management skills to adequately balance clinical, research, teaching and administrative work.
  • Demonstrates keen interest and experience in research, innovation of treatment delivery, technology and information systems.
  • Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or other specialist recognition as provided for the NSW (Non-Declared) AHO Staff Specialist Agreement or the Health Insurance Act 1973.
  • Understanding of the principles of clinical governance to promote quality and safety in health care, with experience in and commitment to evidence based best practice.
