Longtrail Farms is currently looking for a versatile Potato Operations Supervisor to join the team located in Parilla, Southern Mallee.
As our Potato Operations Supervisor, you'll be essential to our operations, reporting directly to the Potato Operations Manager. Your role will encompass everything from driving the Dewulf Harvester and John Deere tractors, overseeing planting and coordinating busy harvests. The business is dynamic and going through a growth phase, so energy and a positive attitude is a must.

Your ability to think outside the box and tackle problems head-on will be crucial in ensuring operations run seamlessly. In addition, effective communication and the ability to foster an environment of collaboration where everyone is on the same page.

About you:
- You have previous experience driving and operating farm machines e.g. grain harvester, gps tractors, sprayers, Dewulf etc.
- Ability to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends as operations require;
- It’s a plus if you have had previous experience working with potatoes but not a must;
- You easily pick up farm online platforms such as farm and communication apps like agworld & Slack;
- You have experience handing chemical and have meticulous record keeping skills;
- You have HC/MC license, forklift license, telehandler license and first aid certificate (an advantage but not essential).
