Working with Alliance Metal Solutions
Starting out with two machines and a whole lot of grit 17 years ago, owners Shane Blewden and Sean Carragher have grown Alliance Metal Solutions to a large sheet metal manufacturer serving industries Australia wide, including construction, telecommunications, mining, energy, agriculture, FMCG and medical. Our services include product design, tube laser cutting, flat bed laser cutting, turret punching, plasma cutting, MIG/TIG welding, CNC machining, in-house Powder Coating and assembly.
Hands-on in a fast paced, dynamic business, Shane and Sean lead a team of tradespeople in a working environment that values teamwork, initiative, open communication and a can-do attitude.
The Position
As a Powder Coat Line Operator, you will work as a member of a line team responsible for:
- equipment set up for each project
- hanging product on the line in preparation for Powder Coating
- applying powder
- monitoring line operation and resolving issues as they arise
- removing product from the line when Powder Coating and drying is completed
- working with attention to detail and completing product quality assurance checks
- packing completed product in such a way as to protect the finish in transit
- working effectively with line team members and efficiently in equipment operation
- monitoring powder stock levels and requesting new stock orders from the Purchasing Manager as required
- being adaptable – with the range of industries we serve and the diversity in the projects we complete, no two days are the same
- always working in a safe manner and contributing positively to a safe working environment
If not an Australian citizen, applicants must hold a valid visa with permission to work full time hours in Australia.
