The role:
The Power Generation Engineer is responsible for the safe, reliable and effective operation and maintenance of the site’s Power Generation infrastructure. As the Power Generation Engineer, your responsibilities will include identifying and executing improvement projects, project managing the upgrade of site Power Generation assets, working closely with the operations, maintenance and engineering teams to ensure associated power stations processes and systems are aligned with site requirements and Australian standards.
Selection Criteria:
This role will suit a dynamic engineer who has excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. You will need a thorough understanding of Aero Derivative Open Cycle Gas Turbines and Diesel Fire Reciprocating Engineer Power Plants, High and Low Voltage Switchgear, Generator Circuit Breakers, Electric Motors, Power Transformers, Turbo Generators, Automatic Regulators, Brushless Excitation Systems, DC Battery Charges and UPS systems. A 6-month contract with the possibility of permanency is on offer. FIFO-Perth 8/6.
