We are seeking an experienced Power Grid Technician to join our client's team in the Renewables industry. As a Power Grid Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the performance of power distribution systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of clean and sustainable energy.
Responsibilities
Carry out routine inspections and maintenance of power distribution equipment
Troubleshoot and repair Power Grid components
Monitor voltage and current levels to ensure efficient power transmission and distribution
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new Power Grid equipment and technologies
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop improvements for the Power Grid system
Respond to power outages and emergencies, and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner
Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records of equipment performance
Requirements
Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience working with Power Grid systems, preferably in the renewable energy sector
Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and protocols
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for Power Grid troubleshooting
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
