About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Power Station Operator Maintenance Supervisor (Electrical & Mechanical).
Roster: Two weeks on and Two weeks off:
Point of Hire: Perth
What You Will Do:
You will oversee the delivery of mechanical and electrical services, managing the installation, testing and commissioning works whilst leading a team. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Site supervision
- On site point of contact for client
- Directly manage safety of other staff include -Performance review – manage rosters – VOC’s and training.
- Work with planners and Area Manager to coordinate maintenance.
- Cover for Area Manager when AM on leave.
- Providing hands on site leadership and direction ensuring the delivery of electrical and mechanical services are on time, to the required standard with zero defects and incident and injury free.
- Day‐to‐day on‐site supervision of contractor and sub‐contractor groups to ensure that technical and quality standards are achieved safely (ITPs, MDR Compilation)
- Management Plan and Hazard Register.
- Review drawings and documentation to ensure the works are installed safely and comply with the project design documentation and Australian standards.
- Assist in the modification of drawings and ensure all drawings are kept up to date, redline and blue line drawings.
- Mange the development of SWI’s and risk assessments
- Manage stock inventory on site and coordinate stock take.
- Assist with End of month billing and reporting.
About You:
As the PSOM Supervisor you will have the following experience, knowledge, and skills to bring to the role.
Experience and Skills
- Experience as a Supervisor leading a team and contractors.
- A minimum of five (5) years post trade work experience within the power generation industry.
- FIFO experience
- Proven Technical Knowledge
- Experience working with COMAP.
- PLC Experience would be desirable.
- Jenbacher control experience is highly desirable.
- Good Communication
- Strong HSE knowledge and proactive approach to implementation.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic.
- Computer literate and the ability to use Microsoft Office.
Qualifications, Certification, Accreditation or License
- Valid WA Electrical License/Mechanical
- Valid WA Drivers License, manual
- EWP License
- HV Switching certificate.
- First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
- Power Generation Training (Desirable)
- Formal PLC Training (Desirable)
- Forklift License (Desirable)
Clearances
- National Police Clearance
- Medical Clearance
