Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a PR Assistant. This part-time position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the fast-paced world of public relations and be at the forefront of the action alongside our founder, Alana Chetner.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the PR team, including supporting client scopes, meetings and being the go-to for all PR tools and internal processes.
Participate in client meetings.
Assist in the coordination and execution of PR campaigns and events.
Conduct research on media outlets, journalists and industry trends to support PR efforts.
Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings for clients.
Assist with social media management, digital marketing and content creation.
Interact with suppliers across graphic design, marketing and social media.
Support administrative function within the business.
Handle other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in an office environment. PR-related role preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication (both written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Skills in digital marketing and social media management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite / Google docs.
A passion for PR, especially in lifestyle & entertainment, and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
