We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join the Practice Team at the Panaceum Group. You will become a member of a vibrant team focused on providing nursing services to Geraldton and surrounding communities. The available position is Monday-Friday (no weekends).
This position is ideally suited to an experienced Registered or Enrolled Nurse, however new graduates will be considered as well.
The successful applicant will be provided with appropriate training and supernumerary support to transition into our business, our busy treatment room environment and also our Chronic Disease Management Team. Additional support for training and developing of skills is in all environments provided regularly.
The successful applicant would require a strong work ethic, developed and consistent time management skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Primary clinical care duties include but not limited to:
- wound care management
- cold chain management
- immunisation
- ECGs
- Spirometry
- ABI
- ear syringing
- infusions
- infection control including sterilisation of instruments
- assisting with procedures
- managing results
- medication administration
- preparation of health assessments and chronic disease care plans
- involvement in accreditation as required by management.
Essential selection criteria include:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
- Current CPR certification
- Current Drivers Licence
- Computer literacy
- Efficient time management skills
- Ability to work as a team and independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Professionalism
- Caring and collaborative approach to role and patient care.
- Strong customer service and a professional attitude.
- Proactive in ability to provide preventative healthcare.
- Flexibility to work at Panaceum Medical and Panaceum Seacrest sites
- To be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Desirable criteria include:
- Prior experience in or exposure to the Practice Nursing environment
- Experience with clinical software – Best Practice. Training can be provided to the appropriate candidate.
- Immunisation Certification or willingness to commit to this training.
- Nursing experience outside of study programs advantageous but not a must.
