About the Role
Barnardos are looking for a full-time permanent Practice Quality Specialist for Barnardos Australia's B-HIVE Practice Team. B-HIVE is Barnardos Australia`s new CRM system

The location for this role is negotiable and the candidate can work from any of the Barnardos NSW or ACT offices.

The Practice Quality Specialist will be responsible for;

  • Supporting the implementation, review and measurement of the Barnardos Practice Framework within B-HIVE.
  • Supporting the scoping, implementation and embedding of the Outcomes Framework within B-HIVE.
  • Collaborating with internal and external partners to identify and scope opportunities to enhance practice within B-HIVE.
  • The management of multiple projects including the development, implementation, execution and measurement of projects.
  • Developing and building on Barnardos practice, knowledge, and skills and how this supports better outcomes for children, young people and their families who experience adversity within the context of a Client management system.
  • Contributing to content curation and facilitation of B-HIVE training/workshops.
  • Researching, planning and delivering robust projects.
  • Adhering to the child-safe organisations standards.
  • Identifying risks and opportunities for Barnardos to continually improve in practice with children, young people and their families.
  • Preparing impact measurement reviews and write reports (including recommendations for improvement).
  
About You
As a Practice Quality Specialistyou will ideally have a;
  • Relevant qualification (Social Work, Social Science, Psychology) or equivalent level of experience.
  • Strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable children, young people and adults who access support services.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • An understanding of client management systems and their intersection with practice and outcomes measurement.
  • An understanding of the Funded Child Protection/ Accommodation/ Early Intervention and OOHC Service System.
  • Deep commitment to continually learning about Aboriginal culture, lore and traditions.
  • Strong skills in identifying risks and opportunities that will safeguard Barnardos practice future.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detailed understanding of project management, including planning, researching, developing, consulting, executing and measuring success.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective listening skills and ability to seek, provide and/or share information with stakeholders.
  • A well-developed resilience foundation and ability to implement self-care strategies.
  • Current, full NSW driver’s license and be willing to travel to Barnardos centres across metropolitan, regional and rural NSW and the ACT.

Salary: Base $93,868 to $104,464 per annum plus leave loading plus superannuation.  Packaging available to receive $15,860 of your salary tax free. Motor vehicle packaging available on selected roles.

To be considered for roles with Barnardos you will need to have (or be willing to have conducted) a National Police Clearance and current Working with Children check Clearance (or APP number) and for the ACT a Drivers History Check, Working with Vulnerable People Card and CYPS Check.
