IEPro Recruitment are currently working with a privately owned civil contractor who are searching for a Pre-Contracts Engineer to join their Gold Coast team. The success of this contractor is reinforced by the quality and expertise of their staff, collaborative approach to business and their skill at providing flexible solutions to civil construction challenges. Our client works across SEQ on DTMR & Local Gov projects.

About the role:

The Pre-Contracts Engineer will join a highly experienced team and support the efficient coordination and preparation of tender.

Within this role you will be responsible for the following:

• Developing formal tender packages for subcontractors and subconsultants in our tenders.
• Liaising with subcontractors to maintain a timely and relevant register for subcontract packages.
• Maintaining relationships with key service providers and specialist contractors.
• Reviewing tender documentation and providing recommendations for well-aligned proposal strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A Bachelor degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 2-5+ years' experience working within a Civil, Construction or Environmental focused business.
• High-level organisational skills and computer literacy.
• Strong written / verbal communication with the ability to form positive relationships with multiple stakeholders.
