Technical
- Develop strong understanding of CR core services by working closely with Technicians in the field
- Work within Contract Resources systems and procedures
- Procedure reviews, updates and development
- Research best practice methodologies and innovations
- Develop and implement document control systems
- Provide technical mechanical support
- Assist with estimating and scheduling
- MS Software (Word, Excel, Projects, Power Point etc.)
- Execute projects on client facilities as required during peak periods to develop site knowledge. A position on site may include works as a Technician, Supervisor or Coordinator.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of project work in the QLD region
- Conduct site-based gap analysis of CR projects
- Research innovative solutions and develop trial programs for testing and proving initiatives
- Lead the change management and implementation of improvement projects
- Foster a supportive culture where suggested improvements that could reduce cost, increase productivity and improve quality are promoted
- Cooperate and have input to reviewing processes to ensure best practice is achieved regarding safety, quality and efficiencies
- Work closely with the Safety and Quality teams on the development of Safety and Quality systems
Requirements & Experience Needed
- Tertiary or trade background in a related field
- Experience in construction, mining or oil and gas (desirable)
- Strong communication skills
- Time management skills
- Willingness to apply technical discipline to Contract Resources service lines.
- Willingness to manage projects within time/budget constraints and safety expectations.
- Ability to communicate and present information to a high level.
- HSEQ knowledge within the industry.
- Strong research abilities
- Positive attitude and proven ability to work under pressure.

- Experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, P&IDs and specifications
- Experience liaising with internal and external customers
- Previous work experience as an engineer and experience within oil and gas or resource sector desirable
- Exposure to heavy industrial engineering or equipment highly regarded.
