Job Title: Pre-Contracts Manager

Reporting to the Head Of Procurement, the Pre – Contracts Manager is responsible for the engagement of design and construction partners and Network Service Provider suppliers for our clients Wind, Solar and storage projects. :

- Assist EPC Procurement Leads in the development, management, and tracking of procurement strategies.
- Engage with development and technical teams to define project requirements, specifications and key risks.
- Identify and address contractual risks and propose appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Manage development of tender packages, tender bid assessments, commercial and contract departures.
- Development of contract rights, obligations and interface matrices.
- Lead negotiations on major procurement projects with external parties.
- Ensure that effective contractual document control processes are adhered to.
- Ensure our clients risk allocation objectives and tolerance are considered in all procurement and contracting processes.
- Deliver pre-construction commercial support services across our clients projects, including managing consultants and advisors to ensure financial close for projects.
- At least 5 years of experience working in Procurement or Project/Commercial Management in construction or energy/renewables
- Strong understanding of the energy industry and familiarity with renewable energy technologies.
- Experience negotiating complex infrastructure construction contracts and finance agreements.
- Strong understanding of EPC contracts, engineering specifications, and project management concepts.
- Teritary qualification in Law, Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field.
