Position: Early Childhood Teacher
Qualification: Bachelor EarlyChildhood Education or ACECQA approved equivalent
Industrial Award: Educational Services TeachersAward 2010
Report to: The Director/The ManagementCommittee.
Teaching responsibilities
- Lead a team of educators to provide a strong inclusive and culturally safe program.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Assessment and Rating process.
- Participate in whole team engagement in the Quality Improvement Program.
- Ensure program, documentation and curriculum are of high quality.
EssentialCriteria
- An ACECQA approved Early Childhood Degree.
- Have Child Protection Qualification and a current WWCC.
- Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates (ACECQA approved).
- Experience within the Early Childhood sector, specifically with Aboriginal Children and communities.
- Ability to mentor Early Childhood Educators and support them with programming and critical reflection processes.
- Must be able to demonstrate a capacity to develop staff capabilities to drive learning and wellbeing growth for children with disability.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
