- Assembles, welds and repairs pressure vessels and pipes to relevant standards.
- skills in general steel fabrication/ MIG and TIG welding experience. Must be able to read ad interpret drawings to determine job requirements
- selecting, cleaning and preparing metal stock
- cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines
- aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments
- joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail, to all policies and procedures, OHS awareness and understanding is required
- Happy to work within a team environment or autonomously.
- Strong work ethic and punctuality and reliability is a must.
- With a Minimum 3 to 4 years' experience, with an Australian recognised trade certification or relevant experience
- You must be physically fit, self-motivated, and punctual and possess a positive quick learning attitude.
