The Role

We are seeking a Pricing Coordinator for our Torrensville support office on a Permanent Full-Time basis. The Pricing Co-Ordinator is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the company’s product and pricing file located within the Sym-Pac operating system while also maintaining the supporting information kept on the internal K Drive. 

This role covers the communication of supplier updates to all key stakeholders within K&B in addition to monitoring the compliance of our suppliers to provide pricing files within the required timeframes. This role also includes the auditing of suppliers pricing accuracy to the network. The Pricing Assistant works closely with the Group Inventory Manager to update, implement and control all of K&B’s pricing structures and customer contracts.  

Key Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Monitors over charges and follows through with suppliers for reasons.
  • Reacts to price discrepancies with suppliers within a timely period. (48hrs)
  • Communicates clearly with all stakeholders on updates and cost price changes.
  • Maintains integrity of all customer pricing contracts by due dates.
  • Reviews price changes that may be requested from site locations to remain competitive in sales for the locations.
  • Works to achieve continual margin improvement.
  • Monitors, checks and action issues when they arise.
  • Offers support to others pillars when required.
  • Generates required reports as required.

Skills and Experience 

  • Operational experience with Sym-Pac software or similar (preferred) 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Product knowledge of Trade Products (desirable) 
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Good reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
