St Mary's Anglican Girls' School is an independent day and boarding school for over 1450 girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. We provide girls with opportunities to pursue personal and academic excellence in a respectful and supportive environment.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Classroom Teacher to take on this fixed term full-time role for the remainder of 2024, teaching a Junior School Year 5 class.
The successful applicant will be able to plan and implement a differentiated academic program to cater for a wide range of students’ needs and be able to foster inclusive, supportive learning environments.
Qualifications and experience for this role include:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent.
- Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
- An extensive working knowledge and understanding of an inquiry approach to teaching and learning.
- Display extensive planning, incorporating Learning Assets across all areas of the curriculum.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.
- Familiarity with ICT and the use of technology in the classroom.
This role commences at the beginning of Term 2 2024 or by negotiation.
