About the opportunity
We are searching for a motivated, forward thinking Primary Health Practice Improvement Parter. This newly redeveloped position will actively engage with primary care providers, such as general practice, Aboriginal health organisations, allied health and Pharmacy at an operational level in delivering Primary Health Tasmania’s role in implementing national primary care reform initiatives within practice settings.
What you would be doing
Reporting to the Manager – Practice Improvement, you will:
- Work proactively to enhance and build relationships with various healthcare stakeholders at an organisational level - elevating awareness of the pivotal role and scope of Primary Health Tasmania.
- Work closely with your team to enhance the capabilities of general practice management, embedding continuous quality improvement strategies
- Design and facilitate workshops, training sessions and events
- Identify areas of need and develop innovative initiatives with the support of your team and manager
- Collect, analyse and document information to aid in targeted engagement with Primary Health workforce and providers
Here's what you’ll look like
- Experience working in a general practice, or other Primary Health workforce settings and/or clinical/allied health, health-related or other relevant qualifications preferred
- Strong communication and relationship building skills and the ability to promote and demonstrate health system tools, resources and initiatives
- Able to think on your feet, quickly solve problems, collaborate and show initiative in meeting identified practice needs and delivering results
