About the opportunityWe are searching for a motivated, forward thinking Primary Health Practice Improvement Parter. This newly redeveloped position will actively engage with primary care providers, such as general practice, Aboriginal health organisations, allied health and Pharmacy at an operational level in delivering Primary Health Tasmania’s role in implementing national primary care reform initiatives within practice settings.What you would be doingReporting to the Manager – Practice Improvement, you will:Work proactively to enhance and build relationships with various healthcare stakeholders at an organisational level - elevating awareness of the pivotal role and scope of Primary Health Tasmania. Work closely with your team to enhance the capabilities of general practice management, embedding continuous quality improvement strategiesDesign and facilitate workshops, training sessions and eventsIdentify areas of need and develop innovative initiatives with the support of your team and managerCollect, analyse and document information to aid in targeted engagement with Primary Health workforce and providersHere's what you’ll look likeExperience working in a general practice, or other Primary Health workforce settings and/or clinical/allied health, health-related or other relevant qualifications preferredStrong communication and relationship building skills and the ability to promote and demonstrate health system tools, resources and initiativesAble to think on your feet, quickly solve problems, collaborate and show initiative in meeting identified practice needs and delivering resultsA culture champion – understanding that every day, you contribute to what makes Primary Health Tasmania a great place to work.Benefits of working with usSalary packaging up to $15,900 – less tax means more take home payUp to $2,650 of pre-tax income can be used to pay for entertainment expenses (meals, holiday accommodation etc.)Hybrid working option – blend of working from the office and home-based office (after 6 months of employment)Discounted private health insuranceGenerous leave and family care benefits, such as; additional 5 days of paid Carer’s Leave per year, paid Parental Leave, 3 days of paid leave between Christmas and New YearRelocation assistance may be consideredFriendly and inclusive workplace culture which embraces the diversity of its peopleHere’s some information about usWe are a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Australian Government to connect care and keep Tasmanians well and out of hospital.
