Position Title: Primary School Classroom Assistant (Permanent Part-time)
Start Date: Term 2, 2024 or earlier
Hours of Duty: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 1pm

Noosa Pengari Steiner School first opened its doors in 1996 and has now established itself as a strong independent school offering a Steiner/Waldorf Education for students from Kinder to Class 12. We currently cater for 350 students from 200 families and continue to grow as our high school develops.
We are currently seeking a Classroom Assistant to work in our Primary School on a permanent part-time basis from Term 2 2024 or earlier.
Key Selection Criteria:
- A whole-hearted interest in young children.
- Previous experience working in education.
- Previous experience in Steiner Education.
- A long-term commitment to working with children.
- Patience, equanimity, endurance, enthusiasm, flexibility, and the ability to communicate well with staff, children and parents.
- A willingness to receive instruction and an openness to working as a team member.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Current First Aid and CPR Qualifications or a willingness to obtain.
- A Blue Card or the ability to obtain one prior to commencement of employment.
- Certificate in Education Support (desirable).
