This role is being offerred on a twelve month temporary full-time basis due to an existing staff member commencing maternity leave.
Essential Selection Criteria:
- A passion for teaching children and commitment to raising the standard of achievement
- Australian Teaching qualifications as well as previous Australian Teaching experience
- NESA accreditation and a current NSW Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated administrative skills, with high level of flexibility and adaptability and ability to prioritise and work as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability in integrating ICT in the classroom
- Experience in using engaging and relevant learning experiences
- Experience teaching in mixed ability classrooms
- Thorough understanding and experience in applying formative and summative practices to assess student learning
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written
