About Good News Lutheran College
Good News Lutheran College is situated on 20 acres in Tarneit, approximately 30 kms from the Melbourne CBD and has landscaped gardens, recreational spaces surrounding classrooms and buildings. The College also has a gymnasium, chapel, and sports ovals, along with new and modern facilities for Technologies, Science and Arts.
Good News Lutheran College aims to provide an educational pathway for each student by focusing on strong Christian values. Staff are expected to be engaged and contribute in leading of devotion when asked to serve and specifically lead class devotions in pastoral care on days where students do not attend chapel or assembly.
The College has grown significantly from a small group of 24 students who commenced in 1997, to its first Year 12s graduating at the end of 2016, and the 1000+ students on campus today.
About the Role:
We are currently seeking energetic, collaborative and dedicated Classroom Teachers who can teach our Junior Years (p-6).
Selection Criteria
Teacher’s registration to teach in Victoria.
Qualifications supporting, and experience in, teaching the relevant subjects.
Commitment to the Christian Ethos of the College
Have excellent relationship and communication skills.
Special requirements
