We offer co-education on our P-4 Del Monte Campus and girls only on our 5-12 Santa Sabina Campus. Our outdoor education campus, Tallong, is located on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands. Our Early Education Centre (Mary Bailey House) and Out of School Hours (OOSH) services are located in the grounds of the Primary (Del Monte) Campus.
The College is seeking applications from creative and innovative teachers for our Primary (P-4) and Gioia House (5-6) Campuses due to Long Service Leave and Parental Leave in 2024. Fourth Year University students will be considered and we are willing to oversee final year internships and practicums as part of employment for the right candidate.
Position: Primary Teachers - multiple temporary positions covering approved leave
- Temporary Full Time Year 6 (LSL) - Term 2 to Term 4 2024
- Temporary Full Time Year 4 (LSL) - Term 2 2024
- Temporary Full Time Year 2 (Maternity Leave) - from mid Term 2 onwards (12 month appointment)
- Temporary Full Time Year 5 (Maternity Leave) - from mid Term 2 to Term 4 with the possibility of extension
Commencing: Term 2 2024 onwards
The successful candidate will:
- support and commit to the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College
- demonstrate an understanding of innovative, contemporary education practices that are student-centred, technology-rich and differentiated appropriate to the age of development
- have demonstrated adaptive and integrated use of technology in the primary years
- possess excellent communication and problem solving skills
- demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- have strong organisational skills
