AddressTRS Resourcing has been tasked with sourcing and screening suitable trade-qualified Prime Mover and Trailer Mechanics to join our client's workshop team based in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
Responsibilities: You will be responsible for servicing Prime Movers and/or Fuel Tankers Trailers.
Duties for these jobs May include
- General servicing Prime Movers & Fuel Tankers per manufacturer servicing schedule
- Rebuilding suspension, brake components, trailer axles
- Trailer inspections
- Prime mover Engine Inspections, Break Downs Rebuilding & Servicing
- Managing related paperwork for each workshop job raised
Pay and Benefits: As part of this role, you will receive a casual/labour hire rate of $55.00 - $65.00 per hour PAYG Normal time, Super, overtime, and a $27 per day Travel Allowance. (Subject to Experience)
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in servicing and repairing trailer equipment.
- Proficiency in diagnosing faults and conducting component rebuilding.
- Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills for job update entry.
- Reference contact details of two past employers.
- Residency / based in Melbourne, Victoria.
- Hold the correct Legal right to work in Australia.
- Mechanic trade qualification.
- Forklift license (preferred but not necessary).
- Own tools.
