About Us
The Environment Protection Authority (EPA) is South Australia's independent environment protection regulator. The organisation works to protect, restore and improve the environment through the risk-based regulation of pollution, waste, noise and radiation. The EPA works closely with industry, the community and government to protect the unique natural environment while supporting economic growth and improving wellbeing. The EPA is responsible for the administration of the Environment Protection Act 1993 (EP Act) and the Radiation Protection and Control Act 2021 (RPC Act) and also exercises responsibilities under other South Australian planning and environmental legislation.
About the Role
The Principal AdviserSite Contamination is a trusted member of the Site Contamination Branch who works with professional independence and provides a key source of expert advice and opinion in relation to Site Contamination for the Environment Protection Authority (EPA). The Principal AdviserSite Contamination provides leadership with respect to the regulation of Site Contamination within South Australia.
The Principal Adviser provides high quality professional advice, implements relevant statutory requirements of the Environment Protection Act 1993 (the Act) and works closely and effectively with the community, Site Contamination consultants and Site Contamination auditors, other government stakeholders and external stakeholders.

Essential Qualification
Bachelor degree in science, engineering or other recognised degree level qualification that is related to Site Contamination.
Remuneration
PO4 ($109,060 - $118,690 per annum) + 11% superannuation paid to your choice of super fund.
