Opportunity
Join us in a pivotal leadership position at our Boddington site, spearheading the continuous improvement function. Reporting to the Head of Productivity, you'll collaborate closely with on-site leaders, offering guidance and expertise for the successful execution of Full Potential projects, Business Improvement initiatives, and other strategic programs.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the Full Potential Project Pipeline, prioritising operating cashflow improvements in the short and medium term.
  • Implement an integrated approach to Business Improvement, maximizing the Full Potential and Continuous Improvement Six Sigma processes.
  • Support the Site Leadership Team to develop key site performance objectives and operating strategy
  • Create tracking tools to monitor key KPIs, providing feedback to stakeholders for effective execution and sustainability of improvement initiatives.
  • Foster the competencies of direct reports to ensure they possess the skills needed to meet objectives.
  • Manage the Continuous Improvement budget efficiently to deliver cost-effective Business improvement services.
  • Collaborate with Department leads and Finance to incorporate cost improvement initiatives into the Life of Mine Business plan and budget.
  • Actively participate in the global Business Improvement network to share and seek best practices and learnings
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Safety, Environmental, and Social Responsibility practices.

About You
This role will suit a seasoned mining professional with a passion for process improvement and expertise in project management.
You will have previously led teams at Superintendent or Manager level; skilled in people leadership, relationship building, coaching and developing others. Demonstrated knowledge of key continuous improvement tools such as LEAN Six Sigma, complex problem solving and analytical skills are also crucial for this leadership role as will be your ability to collaborate with others through effective communication skills, influencing and negotiating for continuous improvement outcomes.
