We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager who is passionate about people and our operations, cares about your team and excels at building customer relationships. Simply put you have a customer service + people first attitude. You will be someone who takes pride in their work, and enjoys working as part of a team!
Playing a key role this role will assist in ensuring the consistent delivery of quality service.
Reporting to the Senior Leadership team you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring delivery of the highest quality service, product and presentation at all times, and mobilising the workforce to strive for the equivalent in excellence
- Running the floor during meal periods to ensure that all service standards are met through all guests interactions.
- Creating practices and procedures to improve service excellence and operations
- Hands-on supervision and management of all bar/restaurant operations and team members including assisting in rostering and planning
- Updating wine lists and menus as required in conjunction with the Chef, Managers and the Owner.
- Resolution of guest service issues in regards to service and food quality, ensuring we utilise the opportunity for recovery as a way of leaving a lasting and positive impression
- Providing effective leadership and development, with a focus on staff culture, recruitment and training and rostering
- Maintenance of staffing levels, appropriate to limiting costs but ensuring excellence in service standards are not compromised
- Assist with financial and business targets
Operating 7 days, this venue will require weekend work.
