About the Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Principal Approvals and Agreements Officer in Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch. The Principal Approvals and Agreements Officer is responsible for leading the development and review of Approvals and Agreements for the Levee Recovery Program and a range of other projects and programs delivered by the Water Infrastructure and Operations Branch and providing expert advice on approvals, agreements and legal requirements. The Principal Approvals and Agreements Officer is a collaborative role that works closely with the Approvals and Agreements Officers to provide advice and recommendations, prepare high level correspondence, negotiate with external stakeholders and ensure the Branch maintains a high standard of compliance with relevant legislation, Commonwealth funding agreements, governance systems, policies and procedures.

Contract:
Contract up to 30 June 2025.
Special Conditions:
- May be required to participate in fire management or associated duties.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- Intrastate and interstate travel including overnight absences may be required.
- A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4WD is desirable.
Remuneration:
ASO7 $106,512 min - $115,137 max p.a.
