About the role:
- Providing technical leadership on multiple projects including providing expertise and knowledge of site water management systems, water management structures, dams and earthworks design, road and drainage infrastructure design.
- Engage in business development and client liaison with mining clients and local authorities including preparation of bids.
- Provide mentoring to junior Civil Engineering staff.
- Undertake project and design management roles for Civil Engineering projects; and
- Supporting the wider mining infrastructure team and other teams within the company nationally when the opportunity presents.
About you:
- You must have experience in a consultancy environment in the area of Civil Engineering with experience designing site water management systems for mine infrastructure projects.
- Bachelors degree Civil Engineering or relevant qualification;
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ)
- Extensive knowledge of civil design skills in the area of road design, water management infrastructure, and other Civil Engineering services.
- Ability to build relationships and develop business; and
- Experience in managing scope of multiple projects varying complexity and size.
