The Role
Lead project teams in delivering high-profile, technically complex projects across NSW, from conceptualisation to completion.
Ensure successful project delivery, consistently achieving optimal outcomes for their valued clients.
Collaborate closely with leading architects, builders, and developers, leveraging your technical expertise to add substantial value to their endeavours.
As part of their client's leadership team, play a pivotal role in driving their team's success, with opportunities to contribute to strategic business development and lead initiatives.
Provide mentorship to junior staff, guiding and coaching the next generation of designers.
Share your knowledge with the wider team, further enhancing your engineering management and design skills.
The Requirements
- Highly driven with a profound passion for facade engineering
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Membership with Engineers Australia as CPEng and NER
- DBPA Professional Engineer & Design Practitioner Registration (preferred).
- Minimum 12 years of facade engineering design experience within an engineering consultancy.
- Highly skilled in facade/building envelope/curtain wall design
- Adept at building positive and enduring relationships through effective communication.
Business Development:
- Excellent business development and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in reviewing project briefs, preparing proposals/tenders, and leading client presentations.
- Exceptional leadership skills, nurturing high-performing teams.
- Advanced self-management skills, ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Proficiency in 3D geometrical analysis and thermal simulation software tools.
- Extensive knowledge of various facade elements and building materials.
