Position InformationUlladulla High School is a large co-educational coastal rural school (enrolment 1085, 95 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students) on the south coast of NSW, drawing from Bawley Point in the south to Jerrawangala in the north. It aims to be a “world class school” that provides an outstanding education with a focus on equity. All students are encouraged to build the best version of themselves through their agency as learners and personalised educational pathways, becoming creative, mindful, entrepreneurial and innovative young people with future mindsets (creativity, collaboration, communication, critical reflection). Outstanding teachers are collaborative leaders enabling the student learning dispositions through engaging pedagogy. The school promotes and supports self-regulation, explicit quality feedback and the celebration of excellence for all students.
There are 12 Special Education classes within the Milumba Support Unit. The local Aboriginal Education Consultation Group and the school work in active partnership to ensure the educational success of all Aboriginal students in the Ulladulla and Milton area. There is a successful student leadership program including a Student Environment Council, Student Wellbeing System and Student Representative Council.
The school completed external validation in 2023 and is developing a new Strategic Improvement Plan to realise its strategic directions.

The classification and remuneration of our school principals is based on school complexity, as measured through each school’s RAM allocation. As part of the ongoing application of the new structure a review of thresholds and outcomes will occur on an annual basis. The principal classification for this school is Principal Level P4 for 2024.
