Duties- Provide expert advice, project management, analysis and support for the development and implementation of accepted recommendations from the Report.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders across public and parliamentary services including MPS, Legislature-General, DPAC staff and effectively liaise on complex issues, to achieve best fit for purpose outcomes.
- Undertake complex research and analysis to support the development of proposals and regulatory instruments to support new initiatives from the accepted recommendations from the Report.
- Lead, coordinate and provide advice on the delivery of complex, sensitive and/or high priority policies, projects, programs and initiatives, consistent with the accepted recommendations from the Report.
- Prepare a range of complex written materials, including ministerial and cabinet documentation and correspondence, reports, briefing notes and material for publication.
- Assist with the supervision and provide general direction to project team members as required, and lead by example of creating a positive team environment where behaviours are reflected the workplace values and culture.
- The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.
- Tertiary qualification and/or experience in Project Management or related fields.
- Experience in governance and/or policy setting.
- Experience in legislative advice, regulatory instruments and/or governance frameworks.
- Experience in human resources including relevant workplace law and procedures.
