What is the role about?
The Major Projects and Professional Services Coordinator is an integral part of the Tasmanian and International Chapter team, responsible for the coordination and delivery of major projects such as Architecture Awards program, and related public and member events. This role will have an internal and external focus on public engagement as well as providing strategic communications and Professional Services advice. The role also has an advocacy focus, which includes coordinating the preparation of responses to government submissions and community consultations.

What would I be doing?
- Client-facing customer service, with a focus on administration, membership services, and event support.
- Taking minutes of Chapter Council meetings, writing reports, letters, and other documents.
- Setting up meetings (face-to-face and/or virtual meetings), sometimes outside of normal business hours.
- Supporting the Executive Director with financial accounts processing and reconciliation.
- Supporting the team with membership growth and retention strategies.
- Developing high-level advocacy submissions and communications.
- Working across multiple programs and tasks as required, with strong attention to detail and a high level of organisation.
