Eden Ritchie Recruitment are looking for a Principal Project Manager to assist in the planning and delivery stages of the business transformation component for the EQIP Program.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a strategic project leader who wants to shape and establish the data governance operating model for the department.
Reporting to the Program Delivery Manager, you will work across various business environments, managing vendor delivery relationships, and leading a team of highly capable resources to maximise their talents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering a high-profile, multi-year program to transform the department’s information asset management approach.
- Manage change management-rich projects throughout their lifecycle, including project planning, stakeholder management, and scope delivery within agreed periods.
- Apply project methodology elements and disciplines to a dynamic program in a heavily governed environment.
- Engage with business areas to understand strategic priorities and identify the information and insights needed for successful outcomes.
Main Tasks and Activities:
- Support the transformation of the department’s approach to valuing and managing information assets.
- Manage project lifecycles from planning to delivery, ensuring stakeholder engagement and scope delivery within timelines.
- Utilise lean project methodology elements in a complex, governed environment.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Extensive experience in large and complex ICT programs with strong business transformation components.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills.
- Proven problem-solving and facilitation abilities.
- Experience managing multiple and diverse stakeholder groups concurrently.
- Demonstrated success in working within transformation programs/projects.
- High-level collaboration skills with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Proficiency in M365 tools, including MS Teams and SharePoint.
- Experience with Microsoft Project and RAID registers in a complex governance environment.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and data management principles is highly regarded.
